In addition to the School's normal class based Health and Physical Education instruction under taken by our HPE specialist teacher, Swayneville School has been fortunate to
secure private tennis tuition- on the school grounds - through Pioneer Tennis Mackay.
For the cost of less than 2 cups of coffee a week your child can learn a skill they can play for the rest of their lives. Lessons are based on technical instruction mixed with fun filled games to suit the appropriate skill level. The instructor is a Tennis Australia Certified Advanced Coach.
As many of our students are reliant on transport to and from the school, parents are able to secure tennis coaching without having to go into town. Pioneer Tennis Mackay provides instruction during the play breaks, and lessons are open to children of all ages. Arrangements are made on a term by term, user pays system.
