In addition to the School's normal class based music instruction under taken by our music specialist teacher, Swayneville School has been fortunate to source two local companies that provide in school tuition for students wishing to learn guitar or piano / keyboard.
As many of our students are reliant on transport to and from the school, parents are able to secure tuition of these instruments within the normal confines of a school day, using a rotating timetable in order to prevent the ongoing 'missing' of a particular lesson.
Arrangements are made on a term by term, user pays system. Swayneville State School supports students embarking on these lessons, by providing a rent free loan instrument during the first 12 months of instruction. Post that time frame, families are encouraged to purchase their own.
