Our School Community

​Our school community is more than just those who come to our school.While obviously a school’s primary business is about teaching and learning (and is without doubt focused on children) because of the role that school plays within family life and within the lives ofindividuals, a school community encompasses a much wider body of people.On Monday evening, the school hosted a meeting called by the Mackay Regional Council. The purpose was to provide a forum for discussion regarding the Middle Creek Dam Upgrade, and to listen to concerns or considerations that local people wished to voice.For many attenders, it was the first time in quite some time that they had been back inside of ‘their gates’. Compliments were expressedregarding the beauty of the school and the grounds.
