Year 1/ 2 would like to share with you some of our classroom happenings. We have been very busy out in the gardens of the school looking after our veggie patch growing corn and snow peas, tending to our gumboot flower wall and weeding garden beds. Our curiosity in plants has lead us to discuss the needs of plants, to investigate habitats, as well as to conduct our own science experiment. We are trying to prove our theory that plants will not grow without sunlight. During this time we have learnt about what is a fair test and how important it is to record our observations with pictures and labels. At first the changes in the plants were small and slow but now they are happening right before our eyes!
